Our Preschool/Kindergarten lovingly serves up to 14 children and is led by two teachers – a 7:1 ratio.

Our early childhood teachers works with the young child first by creating a warm, beautiful and loving home-like environment.  The environment is protective and secure and things happen in a predictable, regular manner.

The children’s power of imagination is nurtured by sharing carefully  selected stories and encouraging creative play.   Children act out scenarios of their own creation, which helps them to experience many aspects of life beyond their immediate surroundings. Toys children interact with are made of natural materials such as, wood, cotton, silk, shells, pine cones, and stones to enhance their senses.

The teachers engages in domestic, practical, and artistic activities that the children can easily imitate. For example, children participate in baking, painting, gardening, and  crafts. The teacher adapts the activities to the changing seasons and festivals of the year to allow the children to understand the world around them.

In this truly natural, loving, and creative environment, the children are given a range of activities and the structure to succeed as an individual in an educational setting. Using their heads, hearts, and hands, children experience sensory integration, hand-eye coordination, sequencing, appreciation of the beauty of language, and develop essential skills for the foundation of academic excellence.

Tuition and Fees FAQS

Do you offer sibling discounts?

Sibling discounts of 5 % will be taken off tuition (this is only good for one sibling). Sibling discounts do not apply to Parent-Child fees or supply fees.

When are the fees due?
The $150/$300 registration fee and a signed tuition contract are due upon enrollment. Supply Fee is due upon enrollment (or mid July for the upcoming school year).  Monthly tuition payments are due by the 25th of each month or a late fee will be assessed. The registration and supply fees are non-refundable.

What are my payment options?
Annual tuition may be paid in one annual payment (due August 25 of the school year or upon enrollment), or in monthly installments of ten payments (due August 25 – May 25.) Payments are due on the 25th of the month. Any payments received after the 30th of the month must include a $25 late fee.

What if my child starts after the beginning of the school year?
If your child enters the program after the beginning of the year, The Rock Rose School will prorate your supply fee. Monthly payments do not change based upon your date of enrollment. Please note that the registration fee is nonrefundable and payable in full for each student regardless of his/her date of entry into the school.

Is tuition assistance available?

We do have a contract through the YMCA and CDA in order to offer tuition assistance for our families.

Do I have any obligations beyond tuition?
Rock Rose School is only as strong as its parent body. Your volunteer participation through community meetings, festivals and other school activities is vital to the health of our school. Our  families will be asked to volunteer regularly in various capacities.
